Bullet Express Juicer
Is the Bullet Express Trio the right juicer for you? It depends on your needs and expectations. There are several juicers for sale, so consider your lifestyle and juicing preferences before buying.
There are two main types of juicers: citrus juicers and juice extractors. The Bullet Express Trio with the juicer attachment works as a juice extractor. Citrus juicers consist of a cone with ridges that spins. They are usually much cheaper and are only useful to juice fruits like lemons, limes and oranges.
Juice extractors are meant for juicing non-citrus fruits and vegetables. The Bullet Express Trio juicer can handle softer veggies like cucumbers, tomatoes, celery but you may need a pricier, more powerful model if you want to juice hard vegetables like beets and carrots.
If you are serious about juicing you may want to consider a standalone juicer like the Breville.
Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL
At about $300, the Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL is one of the best juicers in the market according to consumer reviews. It is much more powerful than the Magic Bullet Express Trio with a 1,000-watt motor and its wide 3-inch feeder tube saves you chopping time as many fruits can be juiced whole. It has more parts to clean than the Bullet Express meal machine but because they are all dishwasher safe the cleaning process is not that bad.
Breville Juice Fountain Compact BJE200XL
At about $100, the Breville Juice Fountain Compact BJE200XL is a good alternative to the Elite 800JEXL. Still expensive compared to the versatile Magic Bullet Express 8 minute meal machine but probably a good option if you are looking for a better juicer. It also has a large chute to minimize chopping time when juicing, it is conveniently smaller in size compared to the Elite model and it is built in plastic like the Magic Bullet Express.
